Founded in 1939, The Desert Botanical Garden boast the world's biggest outdoor desert plant collection. A beautiful place to discover desert flora and fauna, it was created to protect, research and conserve desert plants. Visitors can check out five thematic trails featuring towering cacti, alluring succulents and colorful wildflowers. Each trail explores the use of desert plants in everyday life. Wildlife abound in the garden, from the butterfly exhibit hosted yearly, to seeing the hummingbirds and the occasional snake slither by. A fun experience is the flashlight tour, where you see the Garden by night.
