As the Scottsdale has become a dining destination some restaurants are on your radar and some fly under the radar. Some simple comfort food favorite, some creative chef driven dishes.
These dishes I've recently had should be on your list to try. Keep in mind restaurants often change their menu based in the seasonality & availability of ingredients!

Burrata & Spring Peas at Francine
An interesting combination of flavors, colors and textures. The Parmesan crisp give this popular dish a nice savory touch. Light and creamy perfect for the warm days and nights of Spring.

Cheese Pizza at Defalco's Italian Deli & Grocery
Known for their sandwiches and other Italian dishes this NYC -style pizza often gets overlooked at the popular south Scottsdale spot. The right aromas and a bit of oil from the melted cheese you'd think you were standing at the counter in a pizzeria with a couple of slices in the city.

Tuna Tartare at Cala
The new hot spot in town isn't just for people watching but for chef Peter McQuaid's cooking. With pistachios, citrus and crisp micro-greens you'll be heading back for this dish like others already have.

Triple Decker Club Sandwich at Tavern Grille
You won't leave hungry with its layers of meats, cheese and LTO on toasted bread slapped with mayo. Getting it with a side of tots makes it even better.

Warm Cheese Dip at Merkin Vineyards Old Town
A hot skillet of melted cheeses with chunks of 'nduja sausage topped with pesto and crispy bread to transport to your palate. A unique dish just to get you started before you move on to chef Steve Zimmerman's other creations paired with an Arizona wine.
